Community Bus
Our community buses are available to residents of City of Tea Tree Gully and provide transport to local shopping centres and other places of interest within our Council area. We have a comprehensive program that is relevant and accessible to our community.
Fixed Route Service
We have 3 fixed bus routes that operate throughout our City.
Route 1 (Tuesday and Friday)
Suburbs: Para Vista, Modbury,Modbury Heights, Modbury North, Ridgehaven, Redwood Park and Surrey Downs.

All routes connect at Westfield Tea Tree Plaza.
The pick up point is located outside the Myer entrance - near the Australia Post Office and in front of the taxi rank.
Passengers can board or set down anywhere along the route.
Passengers are encouraged to make a donation to assist in covering the cost of the service:
- .80c concession per trip
- $1 for adults per trip
A two shopping bag limit applies on all Community Bus services. Please ensure bags are not too heavy to lift. Passengers are asked to utilise home delivery services for multiple shopping bags.
Our drivers are dedicated Council volunteers.
Door to Door Shopping Service
We also operate a door to door shopping bus service on Wednesdays and Thursdays for Home and Community Care eligible residents.

Charter Hire
Our fleet consists of 3 community buses and 1 van and are available for charter hire to transport disadvantaged community groups when not in use for Council's community transport service.
