Jibba Jabba Radio is a collaborative project between the Cities of Tea Tree Gully, Salisbury and Playford that provides nine young people with the opportunity to run their own radio show from the PBA FM 89.7 community radio station in Salisbury.
This six month program has two intakes each year, one in January and another in July.
To be part of Jibba Jabba Radio you need to be aged between 16 and 25 years and live, study, volunteer or work in the Cities of Tea Tree Gully, Salisbury or Playford.
No experience is needed. All participants gain free industry training and experience from trained professionals who have been in the industry for more than 40 years. Participants work in two teams and meet each Wednesday night from 4-7pm to research, develop and record their program.
Jibba Jabba Radio Round 7 commences on 30 January 2013. Register online by Wednesday 19 December 2012.
