The Community Panel offers an alternative way for our community to engage with us online as we realise that traditional engagement methods may not allow residents to provide their feedback at times or locations which are convenient to them.

Once registered, you'll be invited via email to respond to a small number of online surveys each year, most of which will take only a few minutes to complete. As well as helping us make decisions about the City's future, you will receive regular e-newsletters that include summaries of survey results and the extent to which your feedback has impacted on Council decisions. We also conduct regular prize draws for our panel members, as well as special 'Panel only' events.

Our Community Panel research partner, the Ehrenberg Bass Institute, is a highly respected, not-for-profit research organisation associated with the University of South Australia. They are responsible for managing the database of participants, distributing emails (survey requests, information, etc) and compiling survey responses.

City of Tea Tree Gully residents 14 years and over, from all backgrounds and walks of life, are encouraged to join the Community Panel. Membership is free.

All personal information is treated with the strictest of confidence and in line with our Community Engagement (Public Consultation) Policy, personal details are not linked to individual responses and/or made public. The feedback compiled by the Ehrenberg Bass Institute is de-identified before being provided to us. Panel members can be assured that personal information will not be passed onto any other organisation or advertising group.
