The City of Tea Tree Gully's City Master Plan 2011-2040 sets a new standard for local government strategic planning.

This plan has been developed following extensive community consultation to ensure it captures the community's needs and visions. The plan reflects Council's Strategic Plan 2011-2015 vision and objectives released earlier this year.

The master plan will be a guide for:
*Forming partnerships with stakeholders, including government agencies
*Planning for sustainable growth, infrastructure, facilities and services
*Identifying key development areas
*Budget and funding allocations
*Prioritising capital works projects.

The next step in this project is to work further with the community and other relevant stakeholders to develop precinct plans in line with this vision.
