Council & Committees
Decision bodies such as committees and panels help council understand community issues in a more formalised setting. Our main council committees include:

While other community forums discuss specific issues including:
- Artwork Approval Panel (Helping local artists)
- Audit Committee (Operating effectively)
- Building Fire Safety Committee (Keeping us safe)
- CEO Performance Review and Recruitment Committee
- Reconciliation Sub-Committee (Reconciling our community)
- Traffic Management and Safety Sub-Committee (Providing safe and easy movement)

All committees follow Council's rules of engagement and have adopted a standard style for Committee Agendas and Minutes. These details are provided within the current Committee Structure document.

Social Inclusion Committee
Update:At the Council meeting dated 8 June 2010, the motion was unanimously carried that all previous delegations granted by Council to the Social Inclusion Committee now are delegated to the Strategic Planning & Development Policy Committee. Enquiries in regards to this decision should be directed to Council.
