The Golden Grove Arts Centre is part of the Golden Grove Recreation and Arts Centre complex located on The Golden Way at Golden Grove.

The Arts Centre is a dynamic venue which provides a year-round program of performances, events and exhibitions. We work in association with both local and national Performance Companies and Artists to bring you a diverse range of theatre and entertainment. Due to the flexible nature of its design, this multi-purpose space is also available for hire and can accommodate a wide range of activities and social functions. The Centre has a performing arts theatre, exhibition gallery, meeting and function rooms. The venue is wheelchair friendly and has ample off street parking. All rooms are available for hire at affordable rates.

The Arts Centre offers the community:

• a diverse range of quality social and cultural activities to experience and enjoy; and
• a local venue/facility where people can gather for social occasions as well as pursue their creative and artistic endeavours.

Golden Grove District Clubrooms: Medium Function Room, 50-80 people capacity. Suitable for meetings, regular activities and functions. Fully equipped kitchen, toilets/disabled toilets and access, air conditioned (heating and cooling).

Golden Grove District Netball Centre: 20 Netball courts, fenced facility, floodlighting. Used by SA District Netball Association. Not available for general hire, besides occasionally for school groups and club training Toilets/disabled toilets and access, large car parking area (approx. 337 spaces).

Golden Grove Rage Cage: Enclosed fenced facility, 24 hour access

One court size, bitumen court.

Basketball and netball rings, miniature soccer goals and cricket area.

Available for local youths to play and under take sporting activities.

The Golden District Club rooms are available for public hire and is used for activities such as martial arts, dance groups, meetings and social functions.

Our centre boasts excellent facilities and is the premier indoor sports Centre in Adelaide's North Eastern suburbs. Award winning in its design the multi purpose 3 court stadium offers junior & senior netball & basketball. Competitions are available to suit players and teams of all standards from the serious competitor to those looking for nothing more than a social game. Mixed basketball & netball competitions are also available on Sunday and Monday evenings.

The Golden Grove Recreation & Arts Centre is located on Council land on separate freehold title and is owned and operated by the City of Tea Tree Gully. The Centre functions as a Business Unit/Cost Centre and its operating costs are fully covered by income generated from the Centre's users. Approximately 4,000 users attend the Centre each week. It has been the venue for many interstate and international sporting competitions, attracting many visitors/tourists to the region. A survey of Centre participants reveal that 50% of users are drawn from the Golden Grove District, 13% from other suburbs within the City, 25% from the Salisbury/Elizabeth area and 12% from other parts of metropolitan Adelaide. The Council acts as a Manager for the day to day promotion and administration of the schools facilities within the complex.

The Centre currently operates under a joint use agreement with three secondary schools adjoining the facility. The concept of this joint use/sharing of facilities has enormous merit and benefits for both the schools and the community.

Clubrooms: Small function room, 40-50 people capacity. Suitable for meetings and small functions. Bar/kitchen area, toilets / disabled toilets, changerooms.

The area is primarily used by the Hockey Club but is available for hire.
