Community Centres (Neighbourhood Development Program)
Introduction
Our Neighbourhood Development Program comprises the operation of four Community Centres and the co-ordination of neighbourhood development activities in the areas of greatest disadvantage across the City of Tea Tree Gully.
Our vision is to work together with communities, enabling community connection, that fosters a sense of belonging and well being through participation, engagement and skills and leadership development.
Mission
In partnership with local communities, we will deliver a diverse range of Neighbourhood Development programs and activities that reflect community need, sound planning and innovative delivery. We will ensure that programs are inclusive, diverse and facilitate strong community connections. Through this process we will enhance relationships between the City of Tea Tree Gully and local communities and role model best practice in Neighbourhood Development. We will facilitate the building and strengthening of communities thereby enhancing and enriching individual, family and community well-being and capacity.
