Sporting Competitions

Golden Grove Recreation Centre hosts a variety of social competitions for evening ladies and mixed netball. All skill levels are welcome.

Junior netball competitions are also available Monday and Friday after school during school terms. Netta-Netball is provided for those children who are just beginning to play netball, with quality coaching & modified rules important components of our netta program.

Team nominations are sought, however enquiries for individual players are also welcome for both junior & senior netball.

Our affiliation with the South Australian Netball Association ensures our provision of quality umpires & up-to-date interpretation on rules & by-laws.

Junior & senior basketball competitions are offered at Golden Grove Recreation Centre. Junior competitions cater various age groups with after school and Saturday competitions offered. Under 8s & Under 10s are provided with quality coaching & skill development as part of their game.

Many Junior Competitions are available, with school, club and social/local teams welcome.

Our Saturday competition is the largest and is a combined competition with Turramurra and Burragah Recreation Centres. Boys, Girls and Mixed teams are welcome.

Senior Mixed Basketball
Golden Grove has a fun, social Mixed Basketball competition, played on Sunday evenings. Please call our friendly staff on 8397 7429 to nominate your team now!

Ladies Basketball
Senior Ladies basketball is great for ladies who just want a friendly social competition to join. It also encompasses several divisions ranging from beginners through to advanced levels. Senior Ladies basketball is held Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Mens Basketball
Our Men's competitions offer both social and divisional options on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening. Team nominations & individual enquiries are always welcome so don't hesitate in contacting us for further information.
