Building Fire Safety Committee

The Building Fire Safety Committee is responsible for evaluating the fire safety of buildings within the Council area.  By the powers granted to it under the Development Act, the committee may issue directions to a building owner to address concerns relating to Building fire safety.

All committees follow Council's rules of engagement and have adopted a standard style for Committee Agendas and Minutes. These details are provided within the current Committee Structure document.
