Our community has told us the Modbury centre and surrounding area (the Modbury precinct) needs to be revitalised. We recently sought feedback about some concerns with aspects of the Structure Plan.

We are considering changing the community land classification for a portion of Veronica Reserve for potential sale, as well as preferred upgrades & improvements for the reserve.

We are considering a project to restore the creekline running adjacent to Willowbrook Road Dernancourt, which has flagged the removal of non-native willow trees.

We were seeking local resident and community feedback on a draft development concept for this portion of reserve.

Council adopted the draft development concept and resolved to seek State Government consent to revoke the community land classification to enable the sale of the reserve portion.
Our Draft Annual Business Plan 2013–2014 provides information about our plans for the coming financial year. This includes our proposed services, programs and projects, our budget and changes to rates.

Council was considering a proposal to install a road closure (barrier) in Crouch Road between Golden Grove Road and One Tree Hill Road.

The Golden Grove Dry Zone expires in September this year so and we needed to make a decision on the zone’s future.

|Council endorsed their support for the dry zone. Consumer and Business Services have advised that a the dry zone has been granted for a continuous period.|
Council was proposing to conduct a Roads Opening & Closing (ROC) process for a portion of road reserve adjacent to The Golden Way that is classified as road.
This process was related to the proposed reclassification of a portion of Maxlay Reserve below.

Council was proposing to change the community land classification for a portion of Maxlay Reserve which is sited over The Golden Way.
This reclassification was related to the Roads Opening & Closing (ROC) process for The Golden Way above.

Council was seeking feedback from the community on a request from The South Australian Railway Modellers Association Inc to grant them a 10 year lease on Council property at 223 Lyons Road Dernancourt.

Community engagement outcomes presented to Councillors 28 May. Revised Structure Plan presented to Councillors on 30 July 2013. Motion carried for further community engagement to be conducted on the plan.
A number of Community Land Management Plans developed in 2003-2004 were due to be reviewed and updated to incorporate changes that have occurred since the plans were initially compiled (suburbs I-Z plus Goldenfields).
