Forms, Policies & Documents

For latest news and announcements, we provide regular media releases on Council activities.

Our quarterly newsletter, Gully Grapevine, is sent to residents and businesses, with copies available online. The newsletter highlights major achievements and projects undertaken by Council over the preceding period and promotes upcoming local events.

Council policies, plans, procedures and other governance documents are made available in electronic format for review online or download.

Please refer to individual publications for availability formats.

Download to read

Each document file size will vary according to size. Publications that include images or large page number counts are frequently too large to download. When possible we have provided alternate methods for online viewing or alternatively hard copies can be obtained through us.

All downloadable documents are supplied for viewing in the Adobe® Reader®, known as the PDF (portable document format).

Adobe® Reader® is the global standard for reliably viewing, printing, and commenting on PDF documents. This free reader software must be installed on your PC or Mac prior to opening a document.

Online

Some publications have been provided online. These methods are being trialled for suitability. They include:

Blog, newsletter

Our Library provides an online newsletter in the form of a "blog". A blog is an online newsletter providing regular entries of commentary and news. A blog contains a list of articles in chronological order or by subject. Blogs are interactive, allowing visitors to leave comments and thoughts. As a reader of a blog you can subscribe to ongoing updates. You can also "on-share" an article with your friends. "On-sharing" is a term used in social media for the sharing of news and information between friends.

Blogging is a popular concept developed due to the advances in social media with web-logging, micro-blogging, and social networking. These developments represent a new way of communicating for people who share common interests. Popular blogging platforms include Wordpress and Twitter with on-sharing via online services such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

Onscreen newspaper

We use an online service to provide an interactive newspaper reading style for our major publications such as the Gully Grapevine newsletter. This style is easy to view and read online, reducing your need to download this large PDF file.
