Native Animals

If you find an injured, sick or orphaned native animal, you are not allowed to keep it as a pet. The animals usually need trained expertise and specialised housing and care if they are to be returned to the wild and be able to fend for themselves and so we refer all calls to the Fauna Rescue of South Australia Inc who assist people to rescue native animals.

There are many external services and resources for the care of native animals. We refer to these organisations for guidance.
