We offer a collection service at our Civic Centre, 571 Montague Road, Modbury for the following:

- Mobile phones (Conservation Ark fundraiser)
- Printer cartridges
Kerbside Recycling (yellow lid)
The kerbside recycling collection is offered to increase the amount of material being recycled. By following the list below you will help your City to increase recycling rates and avoid material going to landfill.
What CAN go in your recycling bin
- Paper and cardboard - newspapers, magazines, junk mail, envelopes, egg cartons, cardoard boxes (flattened)
- Juice and milk cartons - rinsed
- Glass bottes and jars -aluminium and steel cans
- Rigid plastics and cartons - plastic drink bottles, detergent bottles, yoghurt, icecream and margarine containers
Recycling tips
- Place recycling loose into your recycling bin
- Do not put your recycling into plastic bags
- Do not mix recyclables ie put cans into boxes
- Bottle lids - remove and place in the waste bin (red lid).
What CANNOT go in your recycling bin
- Food scraps - put these in your Green Waste bin
- E-waste - see Electronic Waste
- Plastic bags
- Nappies
- Car parts
- Light globes
- Window or mirror glass
Envirocare Sunday
Domestic quantities of the following items can be disposed of at Envirocare Sunday:
- Lead acid car batteries
- Brush fencing (wire removed)
- Metals (any metals including copper and alloy)
- Oil (domestic quantities of waste car oil)
- Plant clippings
- Tyres
- Whitegoods
- Paint tins (clean only)
