Family Advocacy Inc.

We support the Family Advocate to provide information, support and services to residents at a local level. They advocate for families caring for a person with a disability to enable them to fully participate in decision-making.

Family Advocacy is able to:

• Provide information and support
• Help families and people who have disabilities to gain access to services
• Support parent groups and networks
• Assist families/carers to lobby for improved or new services
• Assist families/carers to access training programs; and
• Promote community involvement
