To join our library, it's as easy as completing an enrolment form and providing acceptable identification. Once registered as a borrower you receive a library card giving you access to all services here and across the statewide One Card network of public libraries.
This card can also be used to pay for printing and photocopying in the Library.
Your card will be needed each time you use library services, so please bring it with you.
Membership is free. Children under 18 require a parent or legal guardian to act as their guarantor.
To make sure your registration process is quick and easy, please bring identification and if under 18 years, your parent or legal guardian to act as your guarantor. If acting as a child's guarantor, you will need to complete your details on the child's application and provide acceptable identification.
Acceptable identification must include name, address and signature, eg current drivers licence, social security card/pension card or proof of age card.
Examples of other possible items that can be combined to verify identification are:
You are responsible for the safe care of your card and the items borrowed on it, so protect your investment and notify the Library immediately if your card becomes lost or stolen. Upon presentation of acceptable identification, a replacement card is issued for a small charge.
You can also register for a library card through our online Library catalogue. This allows you to place 5 items on hold straight away. Come into the Library within 30 days and our staff will assist you to complete the registration so you can start borrowing.
Should you require any additional information about membership, please enquire at the Customer Service Desk or contact the Library.
