Mayor's update

With the beginning of March comes my favourite time of the year, the beautiful autumn weather complete with cloudless skies and cool breezes. It’s the perfect time to get outside and enjoy our beautiful city.

These days are just too good to waste, so to help you out, Gully Grapevine is full of ways to get us all off screens and back into nature within the wonderful City of Tea Tree Gully.

The convenience of our devices can be a blessing but they can also be detrimental. Our ideas for getting out in nature include the local bike tracks and playgrounds of Golden Fields or the splashingly good time of Waterworld.

But if you are simply ‘young at heart’, we have Golden Days of Bandstand and the Hills Edge Clay Fringe exhibition at Gallery 1855.

In other news, Lyn Petrie was officially appointed to Drumminor Ward, following Cr Damian Wyld’s resignation because of ill health. I welcome Lyn, and congratulate her on her return to Council.
