Pedare Ward update

Happy 2024, Pedare residents! We are keen to get back to work after the ‘silly season’ and look forward to the year ahead.

It is great to see the completion of much needed improvements at Cobbler Creek West Reserve on Target Hill Road, Greenwith that include a shade sail over the playground, public toilet and a water fountain with dog bowl. This reserve is a hidden gem in Pedare Ward with walking trails and the historic Carter’s Homestead ruins.

The Harpers Field upgrade is well underway and we have met with staff to discuss ideas for the brand new ‘Wellbeing Hub’. We are eager to hear the feedback received from the community consultation about what you’d like to see on offer at this community centre. If you have any ideas, let us know!

We are working with staff to review and update Council’s strategic plan to drive positive outcomes for our community this year and beyond.
