Councillor Profile

As your Councillor, I hope to ensure ratepayers in our City get the best level of services possible, while supporting transparency and accountability. Providing new opportunities locally for our young people through employment and training, and building a stronger sense of community is one of my priorities for the coming term. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws while volunteering locally.

Water Gully Ward update

Council is continuing to invest in our ward, providing better community areas and facilities, along with supporting local community groups.

Many residents have asked us about the delays for the planned toilets on Linear Park. We are happy to say that Council has received the final approvals needed for the project. Council will now be able to plan their installation, which hopefully will occur soon, providing much-needed public conveniences and completing the work started by former councillors Robin Coleman and Peter Field.

In support of local community groups, Council recently resolved to provide ongoing assistance for the Pioneer Court Community Garden’s water bill, in line with other community gardens in our City. Support of community groups is a key Council function, and we’re glad to see our local groups growing and continuing to be builders of relationships in our area.

As always, we are here to help, so please reach out to us if there is anything we can do.
