With a background in business and economics and life experience that comes with being self-employed and juggling family and consultancy work for over 20 years, my primary focus is on easing the cost of living pressures we are facing today.
I’ll also work to ensure that community services remain accessible to all and are delivered to the highest possible standard.
Balmoral Ward update
Community groups, sporting clubs and volunteers play an important role within our city and provide many wonderful services and opportunities for our community to enjoy.
We are pleased to be part of a Council that will be investing around $84,000 this financial year to help our groups, clubs and organisations to grow and contribute to the community.
In October, Council voted to support 16 local groups through almost $42,000 in community grants. These groups will deliver projects and initiatives such as supporting loved ones at a time of bereavement, improving infrastructure to encourage and grow participation, technology to assist with club operations and much more.
We’re committed to assisting clubs and organisations to grow, enabling the wider community to benefit from their success. If you’re a member of an organisation, why not consider applying for a community grant. For more information on how we can support your organisation, visit this link or call 8397 7444.
