Balmoral Ward update

Thank you to the residents of Balmoral Ward for putting your trust in us. With Cr Rob Unger re-elected and Cr Irena Zagladov joining him as his newly elected co-councillor, 2023 is off to a busy start.

We congratulate the recipient of this year’s Australia Day Award for Outstanding Community Group – Men’s Shed Women’s Group based at the Holden Hill Community Centre. The group was recognised for its continued positive contribution to the community, particularly for creating a fairy village outside the Tea Tree Gully Library and a fairy garden at Linear Park. We also congratulate the Northern Healthcare Volunteer Association and Tango Netball Club, who received community grants for round one 2022–2023 to help them continue their important work for the benefit of our community.

The unsealed footpath renovation and resurfacing project ($86,000) in St Agnes Reserve has been successfully completed, with more upgrades scheduled in other areas of our ward later in the year.
