Councillor profile

Since being elected in 2018, I have remained committed to the continuous improvement of our community.

Through sound financial management, and a focus on core services, I believe we have been able to achieve significant improvements within the local area.

I am committed to serving with honesty and integrity, bringing a strong and passionate voice to the Council chamber.

Balmoral Ward update

With spring here, a number of additional verge cuts have been scheduled throughout our City, compared to the previous year.

Also, further streetscape improvements are scheduled to occur along more sections of North East Road in 2023–2024.

A new nature-themed playground has been built at Kaplan Reserve, St Agnes. With a play unit, swings, large rocks and logs, the playground is sure to ignite your child’s spirit of exploration. Additional trees and shrubs were also planted to improve the biodiversity of the reserve.

Our Small Business Advisory Service provides up to three free one-hour sessions with experienced business advisors. One of the small businesses in our ward that has benefited from this program is Frankie and the Grocer, a family-owned business based at the St Agnes Shopping Centre.

So, if you are running a small business or side hustle – or just have a business idea – please get in touch. Please contact us about any Council issues or concerns you might have.
