Balmoral Ward update

Welcome to 2024! It was great to start the new Council year by welcoming more than 100 new Australian citizens at our Citizenship ceremony held on Australia Day.

Congratulations to the winners of our annual Australia Day Awards – Christine Adams who was recognised for her many years of selfless volunteer service, and TADSA (Technology for Ageing & Disability SA), our Community Group of the Year.

Our Strategic Plan 2030 which will set directions for our Council over the next five years is due to be developed this year. Please take the opportunity to have your say about where you would like our Council’s priorities to lie when this important document is released for community consultations.

While we have seen more rainfall this summer than predicted, it is great to see that the verges throughout the City have been kept under control due to the improved maintenance schedule.

Please contact us if we can be of any assistance.
