Hillcott Ward update

You may have noticed how much better the verges and reserves looked this year. An additional 3 cuts were added to the schedule this financial year and there’s no doubt the City looks better for it.

The school year is underway and Council recently repainted East Para Primary School’s emu crossing posts and road markings on Caroona Avenue, Modbury Heights, making it safer for children to go to school. Remember to take care when dropping students off or picking them up.

The aerating fountain in Jubilee Lake has been repaired with an enormous amount of weed removed from it. There are still the occasional hiccups but if you see that it isn’t working, call 8397 7444 to report it straight away.

Congratulations to Christine Adams from Modbury Heights for being awarded the 2024 City of Tea Tree Gully Outstanding Citizen of the Year. Christine has been selfless in her dedication to volunteering and making our community a better place.
