The State Government’s Open Space and Places for People grant program is contributing $750,000 to the $1.5 million project at Golden Fields Reserve, Golden Grove.

The playspace will be built in the lower section of the reserve and provide unique play opportunities for children aged 7 to 14 years. 

The project includes:

  • Development of a new adventure style playground with a play tower, slides, swings and flying fox
  • Car park (off Asgard Drive)
  • Toilet block
  • Establishment of new pathways
  • Seating
  • Tree planting
  • Irrigated turf. 

It is expected that the playspace will open in August/September 2023.
