A $12 million multi-use community building is being developed in Golden Grove at Harpers Field recreation area and adjoining Council-owned land.

The project is partly funded by a $6 million grant from the State Government's Local Government Infrastructure Program. 

A contemporary community gathering space, lighting, car parks and landscaping will be delivered as part of the project. 

The facility will include new clubrooms for Golden Grove Football Club and Golden Grove Cricket Club.

On-site works commenced in 2023 with the project expected to be completed by early 2024. 

The project will create the equivalent of 37 fulltime jobs and inject more than $10.8 million into the local economy during construction.

Construction Tender: Late 2022 to early 2023    

Construction: May 2023 to early 2024

Complete: Mid 2024.
