A new $5 million club room facility is on the way for Modbury Sporting Club at Ridgehaven.

Construction will begin in mid-to-late 2023 and will include four unisex change rooms, umpire rooms, function space and amenities.

Modbury Sporting Club consists of the Modbury Football and Modbury Cricket clubs, which has more than 700 players and members.

The new facility will enable the sporting club to better cater for further growth. The club’s members play cricket and football at senior and junior levels in both male and female competitions.

The works, scheduled for completion in late 2024, will be funded by Tea Tree Gully Council ($1.12 million) and the State Government ($3.87 million).
