“This will give us the opportunity to become more engaged with our members as a community sporting club,” said the club’s president Damien Kuypers.
The club of about 450 players will be able to develop and grow further once it moves into the new purpose-built facilities. It currently hires facilities on a regular basis.
The new clubrooms are part of a $9.5 million master-plan upgrade for Tilley Recreation Park over two years. Find out more here
This includes better parking, paths to link the club to other sports facilities across the site, plus other improvements. Further details will be released as soon as possible.
Funding for the project is supported by two State Government grants, with one grant for the completion of the clubroom of $1.5m and another grant for the completion of the broader Tilley Masterplan of $4.75m.
