From 1 July this year, customers of Tea Tree Gully Council’s Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) will become SA Water customers, following an agreement with the new State Government.

As a result, all property owners in our City will have sewerage fees included on their SA Water bill. This will save CWMS customers hundreds of dollars each year on sewerage service fees.

Our Deputy Mayor Lucas Jones welcomed the news, saying it will finally reduce cost-of-living pressures and provide clarity for CWMS customers.

“We commend the State Government on standing by their election promise and providing much-needed financial relief to CWMS customers.”

SA Water is managing the transition and will provide information about what to expect on your SA Water bill from 1 July.

From 1 July, customers should contact SA Water on 1800 657 337 for all sewerage-related enquiries, including those still connected to the CWMS.
