Attending dog obedience classes doesn’t have to come at a big cost when it comes to your time and money, but it does have its rewards.

Tea Tree Gully Council will offer weekly dog obedience classes from 1 February through to November at an annual cost of just $50 per dog.

And the good news is that you’ll receive a dog registration rebate once you and your dog have successfully completed level 3 training.

The classes are every Wednesday at 7pm at Ridgehaven’s Ashley Avenue Reserve and last for half an hour.

You’ll learn how to teach your dog to gently walk beside you on a lead – without dragging or pulling – and to respond to simple commands such as sit, drop, stay and come.
