Creek embankment stabilisation works at Golden Grove’s Martindale Reserve will begin shortly to prevent further erosion and improve local biodiversity.

Rock material will be utilised by Tea Tree Gully Council's contractor to stabilise and protect damaged creek banks.

A large tree that previously fell across the creek will be removed to improve waterflow, while stormwater pipes will be redirected and extended into the creek.

Revegetation planting will take upon completion of the civil works.

Temporary footpath detours are in place behind Cherry Blossom Court due to safety risks due to the erosion and embankment slippage.

Works should be completed during 2023.
