Your VIP pass to all things happening in the City of Tea Tree Gully

As a part of our commitment to delivering easy-to-use communications to our community, we’re bringing most of our social media pages under one - the 'City of Tea Tree Gully' page.

The single page on each key social media platform - Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn - will help our community hear about local news, discover new things to see and do, and to talk to us when you need to.

This will consolidate the current social media pages for the Tea Tree Gully Library, Gallery 1855, community centres, the arts centre, and recreation centres, amongst others, into the City of Tea Tree Gully page.

Waterworld’s Facebook and Instagram will not be affected, and will continue to communicate their latest news, offers and programs directly to their customers.

The change follows an in-depth social media and content review and report by an external agency. The valuable insights delivered by this report have shaped the creation of a new content and social media approach, which is informed by digital marketing best practice.

Our goals are simple: increase our engagement and reach, keep more of our community in the loop, open up community services and activities to new audiences, and make sure our brand and voice are strong across all communication channels.

To do this, we'll be working towards:

  • Building a strong, consistent brand and reputation in the eyes of our community
  • Creating more engaging and regular video content
  • Using metrics to measure what works
  • Becoming more efficient and saving resources through effective strategy

As social media and digital marketing always evolves, we’re committed to adapting as the needs of our community change.
