A $260,000 upgrade of the South Australia District Netball Association courts at Golden Grove has been completed.

The club’s 20 bitumen courts were upgraded to an acrylic surface to meet regional level standards and national facility guidelines for netball.

The courts will be well used by 26 affiliated clubs and 4,000 players training and competing on the courts weekly during netball seasons.

The improvements were jointly funded by the:

  • State Government’s Grassroots Football, Cricket and Netball Facility Program - $92,500
  • City of Tea Tree Gully - $93,024
  • SADNA - $74,476

The Grassroots Football, Cricket and Netball Facility Program has also helped fund the Hope Valley Sporting Club change rooms and the Tea Tree Gully Sportsman’s Club’s change rooms and lighting.
