We'll be conducting a doorknock from 8 October this year to verify dogs are registered and microchipped.

All dogs over 3 months of age need to be registered and microchipped.

New dog registrations must be made within 14 days and must be microchipped within 28 days of the dog coming into your household. Proof is required to claim registration concessions.

If your dog is found to be unregistered during the doorknock, you will receive a $170 expiation notice. A $15 late fee per dog may apply.

You may also face a $170 expiation notice if your dog is not microchipped.
