Work has just been completed on $50,000 in footbridge upgrades in the City of Tea Tree Gully.

New decking has been installed on footbridges in Edinburgh Reserve (Modbury) and in Fairleigh Reserve (Modbury North), and on the wetland boardwalk in Druminor Reserve (Modbury North).

A new cyclist safe handrail has also been installed at Baymor Reserve (Modbury).

The bridge improvements will improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as accessibility for people with disabilities.

The bridges have been decked out with composite decking material, which offers a more durable solution than timber.
