More than 125 students attended the third annual Youth Leadership Conference co-designed and hosted by City of Tea Tree Gully youth leaders.
“The conference received overwhelmingly positive feedback and was an amazing achievement for our our youth leaders to deliver,” said Carly Didcote, City of Tea Tree Gully youth development coordinator.
Students from eight local high schools attended this recent one-day event at Golden Grove Arts Centre.
Australian Ninja Warrior finalist Andy Dunt was one of the guest speakers. The conference also featured Triple J’s Unearthed competition winner Teenage Jones.
Students put their teamwork skills to the test in a shape-your-city exercise to create a hypothetical concept or design from Lego bricks that would benefit the community.
