The Cobbler Creek West Reserve, Landcare Site is a hidden gem for all of the family to enjoy, particularly the four-legged friends!

Entering from Target Hill Road, you’ll find a large shaded playground with a table and bench seats close by.

The well-maintained grassed area makes an ideal spot for a picnic, and a perfect place to begin or end a walk.

Discover this expansive region by heading down Target Hill Road and follow the path on the right to enter the wider reserve area.

Follow the varied paths to explore the dam and loop around heading north to find the Carter’s Homestead Ruins and a variety of historical machinery.

For those looking for a longer adventure, head west from the dam and follow the creek on your left to discover all the wider Cobbler Creek area has to offer.

You’ll find bridges to cross, landings to explore the creek, historic trees, and a plethora of natural vegetation to appreciate.

Peaking at the old ruins on the Porosa track, this walk is one of the most popular trails of the area.
