Introduction to hard ground eco-aware etching

Next date: Sunday, 26 February 2023 | 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM

Learn to etch with print artist Hanah Williams.

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to design and etch a plate using BIG ground. Invented by Andrew Baldwin (Wales), BIG is a non-toxic alternative to traditional etching grounds.

Hard ground is fantastic for fine lines, detailed imagery and intuitive mark making.

You will take home a collection of prints and the skills to continue etching in your own studio.
