Santos Tour Down Under 2024
The City of Tea Tree Gully will take the world stage once again as part of the 2024 Santos Tour Down Under.
Be part of the action on Thursday 18th January for the Men's Stage 3 start near Haines Memorial Park as the riders start their 145km race. The new start in Tea Tree Gully will initiate an aggressive stage set to skirt the edge of the Barossa before a speedy finish down Gorge Road and into Campbelltown.
Santos Tour Down Under Race Director Stuart O’Grady OAM said Stage 3 of the men’s race offered a dynamic mix of terrain.
“Starting in Tea Tree Gully means we can challenge the riders with a climb almost immediately after racing begins,” he said.
“It’s sure to be fast and furious – and there’s ample time before the start to enjoy the atmosphere and see the world’s best cyclists as they prepare for the challenges ahead.”
A road closure on North East Road will occur on this day between Elizabeth Street and Haines Road in Tea Tree Gully.
