Update 10 May 2021 - This event is now sold out

Using symbols and colour, Chris will show you how to produce a culturally respectful Aboriginal inspired artwork. At the end of the workshop, rather than just leaving with a pretty painting, you will have gained a better understanding of First Nations Culture.

About the artist: Chris is a Wanyi Garawa Isle of Man person and was bought up walking between cultures. Coming from North Queensland he now calls South Australia home and continues to practice his culture every day.

This workshop complements Christopher’s exhibition Connections - one of 3 exhibitions celebrating National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week in the City of Tea Tree Gully. Connections is presented alongside A Walkabout Down My Memory Lane by Alexandrina Fredricka Campbell and Kinship by Sasha Hill.

Suitable for beginners 5 years and older
