What are the Library's current opening hours?
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We are also open Tuesdays 5-8pm and Saturdays 10am-5pm. The Library is currently closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Are there restrictions on how many people are allowed in the Library?
Capacity of the Library is related to 1 person per 2m². As the Library is a large space we do not think we will reach the limit.

SA Health guidelines recommend not spending more than 2 hours in an enclosed room. Entry is via the main entrance off the Library car park, facing North East Road or via the Civic Centre reception lift.

I get books delivered at home, will this continue?
Yes. However Library items are limited to a friendly Drop & Wave service at this time to avoid direct contact and to protect our clients and staff.

When are Library items due?
Our regular borrowing periods now apply to all Library items.

I have a hold on the shelf, but the Library is closed.
Please pick up your hold between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. If you are finding it difficult getting to the Library - please call us, we can extend the hold for you.

What safety and hygiene measures are in place?
Hand sanitiser is available on entry and throughout the Library. All Library areas are cleaned twice a day. Disinfectant is used to regularly wipe self-check kiosks, countertops, PC screens, keyboards and mouse pads.

Can I come to the Library and study or read?
Yes, and we recommend you only stay for two hours. Please adhere to the 1.5m physical distancing requirements between you and other customers.

When will events start again, e.g. Baby Bounce, Story Time, computer classes etc.?
Mini Movers is back, with sessions held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the Community Learning Centre - more info. The rest of our programs and events remain suspended until further notice.
