Renewing your loans
You can renew your items online, in person, by email or by phoning the Library during opening hours. Items can be extended twice. Extensions are not available on overdue items or if requested by another borrower.
Return library items to us during opening hours or through our outside return chute which is available at all times. Items can also be returned to any SA public library.
Late, lost or damaged items
When items are overdue by 14 days, a letter or email will be sent to you and you will incur a notice fee.
Damaged or lost items require a replacement cost in full, with an additional processing fee. If items are not returned, a debt collection agency is engaged to recover outstanding items and large debts.
If your lost items are from other SA libraries, you are subject to their conditions of use, including possible fines.
We accept payment for monies owed to Tea Tree Gully Library by:
- Credit Card: Visa / MasterCard
- PayPal (via the online catalogue or Libraries SA app)
Avoid overdue notice fees and fines
The quickest and easiest way to avoid fees is to receive reminders by email.
Sign up to receive email alerts before your items are due. This will help you to avoid overdue notices and late fees. Keep your checkout receipt as it will also display all due dates.
Of course we’d prefer not to issue charges in the first place, so please remember to return items by their due date.
