City of Tea Tree Gully vehicles

18 City of Tea Tree Gully trucks and vehicles will be on display including front end loaders, a street sweeper, graders, ride-on-mower, roller, elevated work platform truck, a water truck, camera van, the monster medic and the CTTG Country Fire Service vehicle to name a few.

SAPOL vehicles

Swing by and check out the lights and sirens, we are sure there will be plenty of gadgets on offer at this display.

Gilbert Racing

Check out the Monster Truck and the mini Monster Truck on show thanks to Gilbert Racing.

Defence Force Army truck

Always a crowd favourite, check out the giganic Defence Force truck and hear all about what it can do!

SOLO Resource Recovery

Get up close with the City of Tea Tree Gully's Monster Garbage Trucks. We will have special appearances from Crunch, Nom and Mmm. You may even get to see the lifter arm picking up and dumping the rubbish into the monsters mouth on the day!

Adelaide Truck Towing and The Truck Factory

Jump into some bright and colourful trucks and have a look up close at what it takes to 'rescue' a truck.

CTTG State Emergency Service Truck

View the SES Truck and all its gadgets. There will be plenty to do around the SES truck so don't miss this one!

Metropolitan Fire Service Truck

Find out all about how to fight fires and jump into the cab to check out all of the exciting bells and whistles.

Truckworks

Check out another impressive and vibrant truck. A new addition to the City of Tea Tree Gully's Touch-a-Truck in 2019.

SA Power Networks

This truck can reach incredible heights and has a lifting capacity of 350kgs! Another new addition to the City of Tea Tree Gully's Touch-a-Truck in 2019. 

Outside Ideas

Check out some of the vehicles that have been helping to make our City even more special. Outside Ideas will have a 5T Tipper truck and a 3T Excavator for the kids to check out!

SA Police Historical Society

See what vehicles the SA Police used to work with. Get up close with:

- 1964 TJ Series Bedford Prison Van

- 1990 VN Commodore Highway Patrol Car

- 1991 VN General Patrol Car

- 1984 Suzuki GSX750 Police Solo Motorcycle

- 1984 Suzuki GSX750 Police Motorcycle outfit (includes a sidecar)

- Historical society volunteers dressed in old police uniforms who will have some stories to share.

Air Services Australia

Swing by and check out the bright yellow, six wheeled, thirty tonne air services truck! A new addition to the City of Tea Tree Gully's Touch-a-Truck in 2019.

Inflatable Entertainment

5 free inflatable interactive activities will be available on the day. Including a truck themed bouncy castle (for children aged 2-8 years), double dipper slide (ages 3-12 years with 90cm minimum height restriction), giant twister, wide world sports inflatable and a mega 5-in-1 castle (ages 3 and up) from our friends at Jump Easy.

Climbing Tree Activation

Join the crew from Climbing Tree for loose parts play and cubby building. Hours of entertainment for the kids and its all FREE!

Face painting

Madhatterz Parties will be on deck to provide all of your free face painting needs.

Go See Play 

Pop over and check out the Go See Play team and try out some badminton, soccer, totem tennis, netball and plenty of other fun activities.

Cancer Council

The wonderful ambassadors from the Cancer Council will be on the park to provide free sunscreen and education to make sure we are all being sun smart!

Kesab

The team from Kesab will be roaming the park handing out free truck giveaways, helping out with waste education and there may even be an appearance from our giant Chomp waste monster!

PARKING AND GETTING TO TOUCH-A-TRUCK TOMORROW

A limited number of car parks are available on site at the Civic Centre and TTG Library. There will also be parking available in the Karadinga and Modbury Uniting Church carparks on Montague Road. 

To save the hassle of searching for a park why not catch the bus? There are plenty of bus stops nearby Civic Park:

- Stop 45 (Reservoir Road, West and East Side)

- Stop 42 (North East Road, South Side)

- Stop 42a (Smart Road, North and South side)

- Stop 43a (Golden Grove Road, West and East Side)

- Zone A Tea Tree Plaza Interchange 

There will be plenty of options for food and drink available for purchase on the park including:

- A BBQ from the Golden Grove Lions

- Nugg Lyf food truck

- Sookii La La food truck

- Golden North Icecream truck

- Espresso Mobile Cafe Norwood

The Bake and Brew Cafe (in the TTG Library building) will also be open for food and beverage service throughout the event.

Touch-a-Truck is a FREE community event run by the Tea Tree Gully council.

Is this event pet friendly?

We do not encourage you to bring your pets to this event.
