Exhibition details
Schools located in Adelaide’s north-eastern metropolitan region are invited to contribute artwork that reflects the broad thematic statement: Skin – the one you're in.
Students in years 7 to 12 can explore and express anti-racism ideas, body-image or gender identity.
They may also explore societal and cultural norms, and how these impact on the way they see themselves or others – or how others see them.
They may want to celebrate difference, cultural diversity and express self-empowerment and much more.
Artworks can be photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, print-making, collage and more.
Key dates
- Expression of interest deadline: Monday 1 May 2023 at 5pm
- Notification date: Friday 5 May 2023
- Artwork delivery: Tuesday 19 September 2023
- Exhibition starts: Thursday 28 September 2023
- Opening celebration: 5pm to 7pm on Thursday 28 September 2023
- Exhibition ends: Saturday 28 October 2023
