Our favourite dog walking spots

Having a dog is a great reason to head outdoors for a daily walk.

Walking is great for your health and wellbeing. It reduces stress, improves fitness levels and strengthens muscles and bones. It’s also a great way to meet others in your community.

Walking also keeps your pet fit and healthy.

There are so many beautiful spots to walk your dog in the City of Tea Tree Gully.

These locations are all great places to head with your dog:

  • Wynn Vale Dam – Loop the dam for a peaceful walk, or extend your strolling time by taking in the views to and from the Jubilee Community Centre
  • Dry Creek – Join the Dry Creek from Milne Road, Kingfisher Drive or Jubilee Community Centre and walk south towards McIntyre Road until it’s time to turn back and head home
  • River Torrens Linear Park – Head west from The Promenade for a walk along the pathways, or try an eastern loop starting and finishing at the Promenade along the footpaths
  • Golden Fields – Take a lap of the path that runs around the reserve perimeter

Please remember to clean up after your dog and dispose of waste appropriately when walking.

Understand the by-laws for on-leash, off-leash and prohibited areas and view our dog parks.
