Online safety and eSmart libraries
The City of Tea Tree Gully Library is eSmart accredited.

eSmart Libraries, an initiative developed in partnership between the Alannah and Madeline Foundation and the Telstra Foundation, aims to connect local communities with the skills they need for smart, safe and responsible use of technology.
Library staff can provide support and access to resources and education to assist the community to participate safely online.
eSafety advice has been incorporated into our technology training sessions and the Library will host guest presenters who are experts in this field.

Stay Smart Online - The Australian Government's online safety and security website, designed to help people understand the risks and simple steps we can take to protect our personal and financial information online.
Be Connected - Australian Government site with advice on how to stay safe online, create safe passwords, pay for goods, tips to avoid scams and how to download and save safely from the Internet.
