22. John Harrington
John Harrington was a bit of an outcast as a child growing up in the UK before the war - as he loved books and reading, much to the bemusement of a somewhat traditional father.
His love of reading followed him and his family to Australia where they joined the local library as soon as they emigrated. In recent years John's mobility has been impacted, and he uses the Library's outreach service, enabling him to still enjoy his library books without having to come in.
