This reserve has been named in memory of John Eichner who lost his life serving our community on the 21 September 2016.
John was a Council horticulturist for over 20 years and the renaming of this reserve on 18 August 2017 is a lasting legacy to his work and contribution to the City of Tea Tree Gully.
John is fondly remembered by his family, friends and work mates.
This peaceful local park in Greenwith is a pleasant spot to enjoy the serenity. It features benches and a picnic table to take a seat while the kids enjoy the playground. A leafy shaded playground area allows the kids to play in comfort with swings, slides and climbing equipment. While the rectangular grassed area is great for a kick of the footy, a family game of cricket or laying down the picnic blanket.
The large lake at the park is home to many resident ducks and other wildlife.
