Road and Cycle Safety Centre

Road and Cycle Safety Centre

The Road and Cycle Safety Centre makes learning how to ride a bicycle fun for children of all ages.

The enclosed open space has a mini-road network which gives children a real-life experience as they learn how to ride a bicycle in a safe and controlled environment.

  • The track is open for free public use from 7am to 7pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and public holidays with traffic lights and railway crossing functions activated.
    - Please note that on these days toilets are not accessible.
  • Bring your own bikes and helmets.
  • No scooters please. We promote good safety messaging to children and discourage the use of scooters on this mini road network as under SA legislation, scooters are not allowed on roads.

The Centre offers exclusive group sessions to pre-school aged children that enables them to navigate the mini-road network - with workable traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, a train crossing and roundabout.

Bring your own snacks and drinks. We have a kitchenette facility to heat bottles up/boil the kettle. Up to 30 children per session.
