If you enjoy the company of others, being creative, going on outings within our community and learning new skills – then come and join us on Fridays for our action packed program full of fun activities for people with a disability (eligibility criteria applies, see below).

This program will be a combination of centre-based activities and outings. Some of the great activities may include:

  • Cooking a 2-course lunch meal from start to finish
  • Learning how to paint
  • Dancing lessons
  • Active games
  • DIY environmentally friendly equipment for your home

Participants must be able to get to the Holden Hill Community Centre and home independently. When outings are scheduled – they will all leave and return from the Holden Hill Community Centre – no difference in price for that day.

Fridays will never be boring again.

Participants must be:

  • Under the age of 65
  • Self transporting
  • Independent in their personal care
  • Independent in their medication administration or specialised meal time management requirements.

Cost:
$10 per session inclusive of activity/outing and 2-course lunch meal
$20 per session if on NDIS
Bookings essential

This program is funded by the Department of Human Services through the Home and Community Care funding. It is a requirement of that funding that we collect certain information about program participants. This information is used to determine the success of the program and to inform the development of future activities.”
