Neighbourhood events grant

Host a gathering for your street, cul-de-sac or unit block.

Grants up to $150 are available to assist residents and community groups to host small events to connect and strengthen neighbourhood relationships.

If you would like to make the gathering happen, please read the conditions below and submit an application.

Coronation grants closed on Sunday 23 April. Our next round of Neighbourhood event grants will open in September 2023.

Online application process

Applicant/s must be either a City of Tea Tree Gully resident or a City of Tea Tree Gully based not for-profit community group, club or institution
The event or activity must be held in the City of Tea Tree Gully council area

Complete the online form

Complete the form at least 4 weeks prior to your event. The application form will be available in September 2023.

You will receive an email confirming the outcome of your application within 10 working days.

Copies of receipts, photos and evidence of the event being promoted must be submitted within 4 weeks of the event.

Up to a maximum of $150 in funding is available per application
Applicants are eligible to receive funding once over a 12 month period
Events or activities must be held within the City of Tea Tree Gully on public property
Grants are only available to City of Tea Tree Gully residents and not-for-profit community groups, clubs and institutions
Applicants should allow 4 weeks from the close of applications to receive funds
Copies of receipts, photos and evidence the event has been promoted to the wider community needs to be submitted within four weeks of event to acquit the funds. If acquittal requirements are not met, recipients may be asked to reimburse the funding.
