Adult vaccine costs

Cost per dose - more than one dose may be required.

  • $52 - Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough) - free for pregnant women from 20 weeks 
  • $75 - Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Polio  
  • $72 - Hepatitis A adult 
  • $34 - Hepatitis B adult 
  • $85 - Hepatitis A and B combined adult 
  • $215 - Human Papillomavirus 
  • $45 - Measles, Mumps, Rubella 
  • $82 - Meningococcal ACWY 
  • $135 - Meningococcal B 
  • $64 - Polio 
  • $71 - Varicella (chickenpox)

Vaccines purchased elsewhere WILL NOT be administered. 

Childhood vaccine costs

Costs below apply for:

  • non-Medicare card holders
  • Medicare-eligible clients having vaccines outside of the National Immunisation Program schedule

Scheduled childhood vaccinations and high school vaccinations are free for Medicare card holders. 

An initial consultation appointment will be required prior to any vaccines being given for: 

  • Clients that require a catch-up immunisation plan to be developed
  • Clients that need an immunisation history to be added to the Australian Immunisation Register

For Medicare-eligible clients, a $30 consult fee will apply. For non-Medicare clients, a $50 consult fee will apply.

  • COVID-19 vaccines  - visit Department of Health website to check your eligibility and to find a clinic near you
  • Vaccines for travel purposes - see your GP or a travel vaccination clinic 
  • Flu vaccine - only available for children aged from 6 months to less than 5 years and pregnant women 
  • Adult Pneumococcal and Shingles vaccines - see your GP
