High risk manufactured water systems

Supported residential facilities (SRFs)

A Supported Residential Facility (SRF) is a facility where residential accommodation is provided together with personal care services - excluding nursing homes.

The Supported Residential Facilities Act and Regulations set out standards that protect people living in this kind of accommodation. Environmental Health Officers are responsible for licencing these facilities.
